How it works
Fold the card closed. Draw two 6 cm long lines 6 cm apart in the bottom third and cut them in.
Unfold the card. Now fold the cut square inwards and use a pencil to draw two 0.5 cm wide flaps at the top. Cut them in and fold them outwards to create a box.
Cut a 7.5 cm wide strip from the cream-coloured paper and stick it to the outside of the card with the glue stick so that the hole is closed. The strip should be the same length as the unfolded card so that it is flush with the sides of the card.
Separate the gold paper from the transparent foil of a merci stick, smooth it out and stick it to the box on the inside of the card.
Now use a pencil to draw letters, as in our example with the word "Love", as well as hearts in different sizes on the red paper and cut them out - or use a heart-shaped punch if you have one.
Glue the hearts on the left and right to the inside of your box and the rest to the back of the box. The lettering goes directly onto the box.
Almost done: Now just stick merci chocolate in the box behind the hearts using double-sided adhesive tape. Tip: Write the name of your favorite person instead of "Love".
